Hinte Cosmetics values your privacy. We only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

With the publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. Webshop Software

Our webshop is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support but will not use your data for other purposes. Shopify is obligated to take appropriate security measures based on our agreement with them. These measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software, but no personal data is collected or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own company to further improve its services. Shopify adheres to applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, and your data may be processed in the United States.

Email and Mailing Lists

We send our email newsletters through Mailchimp. Mailchimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of each email sent automatically via our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by Mailchimp. Mailchimp uses cookies and other internet technologies to determine whether emails are opened and read. Mailchimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share information with third parties.

Gmail

We use Gmail services for our regular business email communication. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our inbox, and we treat all our email communication confidentially.

Payment Processors

For handling payments in our webshop, we use the Mollie platform. Mollie processes your name, address, and payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to parts of Mollie's services where it engages third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than legally permitted.

Reviews

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. When you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you for further clarification of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely to invite you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for service delivery, for which we have granted permission. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to parts of WebwinkelKeur's services where it engages third parties.

Shipping and Logistics

When you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered. We use DHL services for deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address, and residence details with DHL. DHL uses this data only for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also provide your data to these parties.

Invoicing and Accounting

For maintaining our administration and accounting, we use the services of Knab Boekhouden. We share your name, address, and details related to your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is securely transmitted and stored. Knab Boekhouden is obligated to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Knab Boekhouden does not use your personal data for purposes other than described above.

Purpose of Data Processing

We use your data solely for our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. We retain your data as long as you are our client. This means we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for the applicable retention period. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents created based on your assignment.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to your known email address that the data will not be processed until you lift the restriction.

If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf. We may no longer be able to continue providing our services as secure data linking can no longer be guaranteed.
